Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is gorgeous, very cozy, and comfortable. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be returning. The room was quite small, not enough towels, not a proper closet, a little old, and had a lousy view. However, everything else we could ask for was beautiful and luxurious. The comfortable bed, spotless bathroom, and perfect location for food, drinks, shopping, and transportation made our stay wonderful.
The hotel is situated in a perfect central location despite the rooms being small and lacking cleanliness. Although my room overlooked a side street, the coziness made up for it.
The hotel is in a prime location, just a few minutes from the train station and city center shops, offering wonderful views of the city. The rooms, though slightly smaller than desired, are beautifully furnished and well-kept, with thoughtful touches like a bottle of prosecco for guests. The service, while friendly, seemed a bit understaffed at times. The dining options were good, but with some room for improvements in meeting all dietary preferences. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor hiccups.
The hotel had some positive aspects like its friendly and helpful staff, but also faced certain drawbacks such as the room location being noisy and warm. The hotel's great location made it convenient for shopping and dining, but the lobby lacked character and was somewhat dated.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast was delicious and abundant, although the restaurant menu was too fancy for my taste. The room we were initially given felt like a prison cell, so I would recommend opting for a larger room if you can.
The hotel is in a great central location in Cork Centre with a pool, Jacuzzi, and gym facility, offering a nice restaurant and bar. The rooms were fabulous, comfortable, spacious, and quiet, but they were very small and were clean yet a bit stuffy. The atmosphere was extremely hot at times, which could be uncomfortable.
The hotel was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and a great location. However, the room was not as expected and lacked proper amenities. The dining experience was underwhelming, and the price for breakfast seemed overpriced.
The hotel had some lovely touches in the room, such as a bottle of prosecco on ice and some treats, but the room itself had dirty walls, flat-pack-like furniture, a small bed, and a thin duvet. The location was excellent, perfect for exploring day and night. However, the room was too hot, and opening the window was a challenge.
The hotel offers clean and cozy rooms with really comfortable beds and bathrooms equipped with white fluffy towels. The service is friendly and helpful, making it a lovely place to stay, especially with the convenient location near shops and restaurants. The superb location in the heart of Cork, a beautiful historic building with modern amenities, makes it a great choice for exploring the city. Dining options could be improved for better value despite varied presentations.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms were a good size and clean; however, the temperature inside felt like a sauna despite efforts to cool it down. The initial room I booked turned out to be tiny, and the situation was not handled well by the reception. On the bright side, the hotel is centrally located in the heart of the city center with newly refurbished rooms.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean, and offered a fantastic view of McCurtain Street and the river. However, some air conditioning would have been a nice addition. The service was outstanding, especially from John and the bar staff who were lovely and professional. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of Cork with all the modern conveniences in a historic building. The dining options were hearty and set me up for the day, with a great selection to choose from. Overall, a delightful experience!
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were generously spacious, comfy, clean, and simply decorated, although a bit noisy with water pipes. The service was exceptional, with a very courteous and helpful team. The location couldn't have been better, surrounded by fine restaurants and bars, and just a short walk from the city center. The dining experience was delightful, offering a sumptuous and plentiful selection. Overall, a great value for money.
